When she was auditioning for the film, she was so confident about the role that she told director Alexander Payne that:
“You can audition other people, but I’m the right person for this part.

“We don’t have that many, and she is an archetype of American ambition and this idea of a woman wanting to get ahead, says the actress.
It’s interesting as you go back and look at it now. What are the qualities that we thought were not great about her ambition, and now that we encourage in young women? It’s a real shift.”
Recently Witherspoon also made another revelation, hinting that she would be returning to reprise her role as Tracy Flick in the sequel titled Tracy Flick Can’t Win.
She is very excited about a possible comeback and is also ready to give Tracy the importance and symbol of American ambition and every woman’s desire to succeed in life.
