The film’s trailer uses the Let’s Dance Bowie song. Vaughn aims for a disco vibe throughout the film when switching between Ellie’s and Argyle’s stories.
Another song used in the opening scene is ‘You’re My Everything,’ played when Dua Lipa’s character performed with Whirly Bird in the film.
What Producer revealed about the Argyle Music
In 2023, after the project was announced, some Taylor Swift fans assumed she was secretly writing songs for the song.
Vaughan told Rolling Stone, “Ironically, what she is responsible for is the Scottish Fold.”

However, these rumors went viral as several clues surfaced, including that Conway lives in America and has a Scottish Fold cat.
Vaughn later discredited the theory, but he also revealed that he admitted Swift was why the Scottish Fold appeared in the film.
During an interview with Radio Time, Vaughn also said, “I know Giles Martin, who was a song producer, and I was struggling to find a love song that had pathos and hope.”
“And then Giles said to me… I thought he was joking when he said, ‘Do you want to hear the new Beatles song? It might fit.’
“And I was like, ‘What are you talking about? A new Beatles song, are you out of your mind?’ And then he played it to me. And I was just shocked. I was really, really shocked. And then it was like, ‘Oh my God, now I’m not allowed to tell anyone about this for a year!'”
He added: “I had to meet with Sir Paul [McCartney] and all the families and get their permission and show them the film – it was fiery hoops that I didn’t mind jumping through because it was like, what an experience and what an honor.
“And yeah, I’m just amazed I got to work with The Beatles and use a new Beatles song. … Whenever I think my life couldn’t get crazier, it somehow does.”
